Michael Vick Signs With Philadelphia Eagles

News just broke that Michael Vick has signed a 2-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

This is a somewhat shocking move since the Eagles clearly have a franchise QB in Donovan McNabb and you would think even if Vick is just playing in wildcat formations that it would be very tough for him to see significant playing time with the Eagles. Maybe the Eagles just want to have Vick so they can have some insurance in case McNabb gets hurt, but honestly I just don't see the Eagles breaking their normal offense enough for Vick to make a major impact. However, he would be great as a decoy and also could be deadly in a rollout situation in the redzone, so I could see him making some kind of impact in those types of situations

Definitely an interesting signing and one that will keep us watching to see exactly how the Eagles will use Vick this season.
