Sample of The Week is from Bobby Womack featuring Candi Staton with "Stop Before We Start", which was sampled on A+'s "Move On" joint from his debut album The Latch-Key Child. I also included a bonus sample from the Isley Brothers, which is the vocal sample that is on the A+ joint.
The Sample of The Week comes from Willie Hutch, who has been sampled numerous times by hip hop producers, and has some dope music. If you have some spare time on your hands, I suggest you search for his music online wherever you download your music at. His song "Baby, Come Home" was sampled by Ghostface on "Back Like That".
This Sample of The Week should be a familiar one because just this week I posted the joint that sampled it. Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes featuring Sharon Paige check in with "You Know How To Make Me Feel So Good", which was sampled on the remix of Raekwon and Ghostface's "Rainy Dayz" joint.

The Sample of The Week comes from Leon Haywood's "I Wanna Do Something Freaky To You," which was sampled on the classic from Dr. Dre's debut album, "Nothin' But A G Thang."
Man, oh man this sample is sick. Another one of my favorites, this classic from Curtis Mayfield was sampled on Young Jeezy's "Go Crazy." The original is "(Man, Oh Man) I Want To Go Back."
Every week I'm going to start posting an older song that was sampled in a hip hop song. I know there are a lot of other blogs out there that post samples too, but the truth is that I have always been one to look at the notes inside an album cover and try and download the songs that were sampled. My blog is a representation of me and I think song samples are a big part of that. With that being said here is the first sample, which I think is perfect for the current times we are in with the economy being the mess that it is. I could listen to this shit all day on repeat I think.
