Michael Jordan - Basketball Hall of Fame Speech (Video)

I thought this was a great speech by Michael Jordan because it showed us what motivated him to become "Michael Jordan" and not just a regular NBA player. There's tons of players who have the talent of MJ but they don't have that something extra that made Jordan the greatest player of his time and most likely the greatest player ever.

I thought Jordan did a great job of explaining why he became the player he did as compared to some others who waste their talent and as Robert DeNiro says in A Bronx Tale....

"The saddest thing in life is wasted talent. If you've got talent and do the wrong thing, nothing happens. But when you do right, good things happen."

I think it's pretty clear that Michael Jordan didn't waste his talent and good things most definitely came out of that. His speech was just a representation of what motivated him to not waste his talent.
