2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 7 - Los Angeles Lakers 89 Houston Rockets 70 (Highlights)

Game 7: Los Angeles Lakers 89 Houston Rockets 70

Analysis: Well if the Lakers had just played like this the whole series then this thing would have been over a long time ago. It will be interesting to see if they are more consistent with their aggressiveness and energy against the Nuggets than they were in this series. I still feel like the Nuggets will bring it more often than the Lakers will. As far as this game goes, the Lakers creamed the Rockets on the boards 55-33, and outshot them from the floor 46.7% to 36.8%. That pretty much tells you all you need to know about how the Lakers won the game. Pau and Bynum led the way for the Lakers shooting 16 of 26 from the floor and combining for 35 points.

Key Players of The Game

Pau Gasol: Pau finished 10 of 16 from the floor with 21 points and 18 rebounds. To be honest, I blame a lot of the Lakers losses on him in a way because he could have been dominating like this every game of this series, but he's not aggressive enough and I think it cost the Lakers in this series. Against Denver, he might not have as much of an advantage because Denver has a lot of quick and active bigs. Should be interesting to see how he plays.

Andrew Bynum: Bynum is going to be inconsistent you can bet on that, but when he plays well, the Lakers almost always win. He was 6 of 7 from the floor for 14 points and he also had 6 rebounds and 2 blocks. They'll definitely need more of that from him against Denver.
