2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 2 - Cleveland Cavaliers 96 Orlando Magic 95 (Highlights)

Game 2: Cleveland Cavaliers 96 Orlando Magic 95

Analysis: Lebron summed this up pretty good when he said it was a great shot, but the Cavs still need to clean some things up. That's pretty accurate to me because for the second game in a row the Cavs blew a big lead at home vs the Magic. This time it was a 23 point lead and they can't expect to be able to get up big on the Magic on the road. The Cavs are very lucky to not be down 2 games to nothing right now. Orlando needs to get off to better starts now that they are at home too, but they have to be feeling like they can beat the Cavs no matter what the situation, because Cleveland has no answer for Rashard Lewis, Hedo Turkoglu, Dwight Howard, and even Courtney Lee and Mickael Pietrus to some extent. Cleveland also is getting nothing from their bench. Pavlovic gave them a little bit in Game 2, but will that carry over on the road? I doubt it. I expect Lebron to go bonkers in either Game 3 or Game 4 with a 40 plus night and the Cavs should be able to win a game in Orlando, if he doesn't go off then I don't see how Cleveland can win in Orlando right now.

Key Players of The Game

Lebron James: He basically just saved the Cavs season with his game winning three. Make no mistake about it though, the Cavs are still in trouble, Lebron just gave them another chance to prove they can still win this series. He finished with 35 points on 12 of 23 shooting.

Hedo Turkoglu: This guy keeps hitting big shots and if it wasn't for Lebron's heroics then he would have been the story of this game. He finished with 21 points on 9 of 17 shooting.

Rashard Lewis: He also hit some big shots down the stretch and finished with 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals; while shooting 6 of 15 from the floor.

Mo Williams/Delonte West: Mo Williams scored 19 points, but it took him 21 shots to do it and he only hit 7 of those. One of these two is going to have to step it up if the Cavs are going to win this series. This was the main issue I saw with the Cavs in the earlier rounds and so far it's been proven that neither one can play a consistent second fiddle to Lebron. They combined for 31 points, but shot only 11 of 28 from the floor. They also had a combined 10 rebounds and 6 assists.
