2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 4 - Dallas Mavericks 119 Denver Nuggets 117 (Highlights)

Game 4: Dallas Mavericks 119 Denver Nuggets 117

Analysis: The Nuggets finally had a poor defensive game and the Mavs took advantage of it. I wish the Mavs would have lost though because they are just delaying the inevitable. Denver is probably going to win Game 5 at home. Dirk was great in this game and truth is he's been pretty damn good all series long he just hasn't gotten much help from his teammates. He's averaging 35.0 points on 53.5% shooting and pulling down 12.0 rebounds a game and the Mavs are STILL down 3-1. Can't blame it on Dirk that's for sure. The difference in this game is that the Dallas bench played much better than the previous games and combined to score 33 points. Of course that's not likely to happen in Game 5 which means the Mavs will probably lose.

Key Players of The Game

Dirk Nowitzki: Monster game for Dirk with 44 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a block; while shooting 14 of 25 from the field and 16 of 17 from the line.

Carmelo Anthony: 'Melo was every bit as good as Dirk in this game and finished with 41 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals.

Dallas Bench: Combined for 33 points on 12 of 21 shooting between Jason Terry, Brandon Bass, and J.J. Barea.
