2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 3 - Cleveland Cavaliers 97 Atlanta Hawks 82 (Highlights)

Game 3: Cleveland Cavaliers 97 Atlanta Hawks 82

Analysis: Well, the Hawks tried to make this a game, but in the end there was just too much Lebron for them to handle. They pretty much lost this game because they got absolutely creamed on the boards 46 to 23 and they only went to the free throw line 11 times compares to 29 for the Cavs. I'm really disappointed in Al Horford, who I thought would really take a step forward this year, but it doesn't seem like he has improved his offensive game at all. Maybe it's because he's been hurting all season, but it might be time for the Hawks to try and get him some help down low. The West/Williams combination for the Cavs was just OK in this one scoring 23 points on 9 of 21 shooting. Looks like the Cavs will end this series in 4 games.

Key Players of The Game

Lebron James: Lebron made sure the Cavs were going to win this game, but I noticed the Hawks on several occasions weren't even getting a hand in Lebron's face and that is just unacceptable. It will be interesting to see what happens when Lebron is actually challenged somewhat. He finished with 47 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas: Ilgauskas came up with a solid performance scoring 14 points and grabbing 8 boards while shooting 6 of 8 from the field.
