2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 3 - Orlando Magic 117 Boston Celtics 96 (Highlights)

Game 3: Orlando Magic 117 Boston Celtics 96

Analysis: The Celtics have to be feeling not too good after this game. Orlando shot the lights out hitting 9 of 18 threes and shooting a ridiculous 59.1% from the floor. They also knocked down 30 of their 36 free throw attempts and outrebounded the Celtics 36 to 29. The Celtics will have to play better defense in Game 4 or else they will most likely be going home. If Orlando plays like this against Cleveland in the next round they will definitely give Cleveland a run for their money. The problem is that Cleveland is a much better defensive team than the Celtics are right now without KG. Game 4 is do or die for the Celts.

Key Players of The Game

Hedo Turkoglu: Struggling for most of the first round, Turkuglu has come alive for Orlando in this series and that is bad news for the Celtics. Turkoglu shot 8 of 12 from the floor to score 24 points for the Magic.

Rashard Lewis: Lewis has been playing really well for Orlando throughout the playoffs. He had a team high 28 points in this one, shooting 9 of 17 from the floor. He also had 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal.

Dwight Howard: Dwight didn't have to do much on the offensive end but he still was an efficient 7 of 8 from the floor scoring 17 points with 14 rebounds, 5 blocks, and 2 steals.

Ray Allen: Just 8 points on 3 of 13 shooting, including 0 for 5 from deep. I'm not going to blame this loss on Allen, because I think the Celtics defense is what cost them this game, but Allen will have to play better in Game 4.

Paul Pierce: Pierce led the Celtics with 27 points including 14 of 14 from the line. He also added 3 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals.

Eddie House: House had another strong game off the bench scoring 15 point on 6 of 7 shooting, including 3 of 4 from three.
