2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 6 - Miami Heat 98 Atlanta Hawks 72 (Highlights)

Game 6: Miami Heat 98 Atlanta Hawks 72

Analysis: Too much Dwyane Wade, not enough Atlanta Hawks offense. Atlanta shot only 37% in this game and got outrebounded 47 to 36. Not really surprising to see them lose on the road again, especially without Al Horford, since they are such a poor road team. The danger in going 7 games for the Hawks is that Dwyane Wade is the best player in this series and he could take over Game 7. If that happens then the Hawks will be in trouble. If not then I don't see the Heat being able to win.

Key Players of The Game

Dwyane Wade: D-Wade made sure that there was going to be a Game 7 by taking over this game. He finished with 41 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. He shot 11 of 23 from the floor and nailed 16 of his 17 free throw attempts. The Heat will need something similar to this performance if they want to win Game 7.

Michael Beasley: After playing decent off the bench in this series, Beasley came out with a huge game in Game 6. He finished with 22 points and 15 rebounds, which is by far his best game of the series.

Josh Smith: J-Smooth has been solid in this series overall, but he had an off night and it really hurt the Hawks. Smith gives a huge boost to the Hawks when he plays well, but he finished with just 7 points on 3 of 13 shooting and it looked like the Hawks had no life the whole game.
