2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 7 - Atlanta Hawks 91 Miami Heat 78 (Highlights)

Game 7: Atlanta Hawks 91 Miami Heat 78

Analysis: This was the most boring 7 game series ever because all 7 games were decided by 10 points or more. The Heat only had Jermaine O'Neal for 1 minute of this game, so it's no surprise they lost. Dwyane Wade had a decent game, but he wasn't spectacular enough to lead the Heat to victory. Joe Johnson had a big game and as long as that was happening then the Heat had no chance. The Hawks will now go on to play the Cavs, where I see them struggling on offense on the road, and they will struggle offensively all series long if they don't improve their half court offense.

Key Players of The Game

Joe Johnson: The Hawks would have ended this series a lot sooner if Johnson had played better throughout it. He did save his best game for a good time and finished with 27 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals; while shooting 10 of 19 from the field, including 6 of 8 threes.

Josh Smith: Smith followed up a weak Game 6 performance with an excellent Game 7 with 21 points, 9 boards, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a 1 block. He's going to have to have a strong series against the Cavs on both ends of the floor for them to remain competitive.

Dwyane Wade: D-Wade was good but he can't do it all for the Heat. He finished with 31 points on just 10 of 25 shooting.

Michael Beasley: Beasley had another strong game off the bench with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Maybe Beasley can build off this series and step up his game next season to become more involved in the Heat offense.
