2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 2 - Boston Celtics 112 Orlando Magic 94 (Highlights)

Game 2: Boston Celtics 112 Orlando Magic 94

Analysis: You had to know the Celtics were going to bring their A-game after their Game 1 loss to the Magic. The Celtics were able to outrebound the Magic for the second game in a row despite the presence of Dwight Howard and the absence of KG. Having a guard who can rebound like Rajon Rondo certainly helps the Celtics in that area. That being said, Eddie House was the difference in this game. Anytime one of your players shoots 11 of 14 from the field that's definitely a plus and if that player is coming off the bench that it's an even bigger factor on the game. Thanks to his big night, the Celtics were able to shoot over 50% from the floor and teams almost never lose when they shoot over 50%.

Key Players of The Game

Eddie House: You already know Eddie was 11 of 14 from the floor for 31 points off the bench for the Celtics. He also nailed all 4 of his three pointers. A big time performance from Eddie House in this one.

Rajon Rondo: Rondo had his third triple-double of the playoffs and most importantly he looked more aggressive than he has over the last few games. He finished with 15 points, 11 rebounds, 18 assists, and 2 steals.

Kendrick Perkins: Perk was 7 of 10 from the floor for 16 points and played solid D on Dwight Howard, while ripping down 9 boards and blocking 2 shots.

Dwight Howard: Not a good game for Dwight, who shot only 5 of 13 from the floor and scored just 12 points. He'll have to be better in the rest of this series for Orlando to win.
