Davon Jefferson Signs To Play In Isreal

Former USC star Davon Jefferson, who was not selected in the NBA Draft after leaving school early, has signed a contract to play next season in Isreal, via EuroBasket:

The newcomer Maccabi Haifa added another piece into it's brand new squad for the upcoming season, by signing American forward Davon Jefferson (203-F-86) (203-F-86). Once considered a future lottery Draft pick, Jefferson graduated at USC and averaged 12.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks last season. After going undrafted, Jefferson attended the NBA summer league but could not get a contract so he decided to make a debut outside the states in Haifa.

Special thanks to Hip 2 Da Game reader Shirley for bringing this to my attention!
