Chicago Bears’ Jason McKie and Brandon Lloyd Team up with Recording Artist, Twista, for Monday Night With the Kids

(Chicago, IL)- Platinum recording artist, Twista, is teaming up with Chicago Bears’ fullback, Jason McKie and wide receiver, Brandon Lloyd, to present Monday Night With the Kids. The event will feature McKie, Lloyd, and Twista playing various video games and spending time with thirty children from the Cabrini Green Tutoring Program. The Cabrini Green Tutoring Program helps children in the first to sixth grades that come from economically disadvantaged families through tutoring sessions that are conducted by volunteers. Erin McPartlin who heads the program shares, “A significant part of our Life Skills Program involves cultural opportunities, especially those involving positive male role models. The Cabrini Green Tutoring Program, Inc. is excited to offer this experience to our older students and their volunteer tutors.” In regards to the event Twista comments, “I’ve been doing these video game reviews for a few months and I wanted to get some kids involved, I reached out to McKie and Lloyd to make it a little more special for the kids.” Lloyd adds: "Being a big time gamer myself, I love this opportunity to play games with this group of kids. Games were a major part of my childhood and were instrumental in keeping me in the house instead of out in the streets getting into trouble. Also, as a hip hop artist who is new to the Chicago area, I relish the opportunity to team up with one of Chicago's best to give back to this community. The event will take place at 2185 N Halsted Street in Chicago, IL from 5:30pm - 7:30pm, where the children will get the opportunity to interact with McKie, Lloyd, and Twista who will play a variety of video games with the children. “We have some other little things planned for the kids who come as well so that they will never forget this event,” adds Twista.
