2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 4 - Atlanta Hawks 81 Miami Heat 71 (Highlights)

Game 4: Atlanta Hawks 81 Miami Heat 71

Analysis: The Atlanta Hawks won this game for two reasons: defense and rebounding. They held the Heat to 37.&% shooting from the floor and outrebounded them 40 to 33. The Hawks are still struggling on offense, so they had to step their defense up in order to tie up this series and that's exactly what they did. Once they go home for Game 5, it will be interesting to see if they finally get things together on the offensive end as well, especially for Joe Johnson, who has struggled throughout this series.

Key Players of The Game

Zaza Pachulia: Black eye and all, Zaza had a huge game off the bench for the Hawks. He scored 12 points on 5 of 8 shooting and ripped down a game high 18 rebounds. Definitely a big effort for Pachulia off the bench.

Josh Smith: Smith set the tone defensively for the Hawks and finished with 13 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocks and a steal.

Dwyane Wade: Anytime D-Wade shoots just 9 of 26 from the floor, the Heat are going to have a tough time winning. He'll have to play better in Game 5 for the Heat to steal one on the road.

Jermaine O'Neal: J.O. continues to have a strong series finishing with 20 points on 7 of 11 shooting and 6 rebounds.

James Jones: Jones was the only role player who even showed up in this game for the Heat. He had two back-to-back four point plays that helped the Heat get back in this game, but the Heat weren't able to keep the momentum going. Jones finished with 19 points by hitting 4 of 5 from the field, 3 of 4 from three, and 8 of 9 from the line.
