2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 5 - Portland Trailblazers 88 Houston Rockets 77 (Highlights)

Game 5: Portland Trailblazers 88 Houston Rockets 77

Analysis: Portland defended their home court and now sets up a huge Game 6 that I think the Rockets need to win. If they lose then I can definitely see Portland coming back home and winning Game 7. Brandon Roy has been better than Yao Ming in this series and it will be interesting to see if he can lead his team to a tough Game 6 victory. I wouldn't bet against it.

Key Players of The Game

Brandon Roy: Roy finished with 25 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and a 1 block to lead the Blazers to victory.

LaMarcus Aldridge: Excellent game from Aldridge, who finished with 25 points and 7 rebounds, while shooting 11 of 20 from the floor. They will need to keep playing like this if they want to comeback and win this series.

Yao Ming: Ming was good in this game, but he wasn't great and the Rockets will need him to be great to close out the Blazers. Yao finished with just 15 points in this one on 7 of 12 shooting. He did have 12 rebounds though.

Luis Scola: Scola continues to impress in this series and had 21 points and 6 boards, while shooting an efficient 10 pf 13 from the floor. Portland would be winning this series if not for the strong play of Scola.

Steve Blake: Blake came up with a solid game for the Blazers finishing with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists, while shooting 5 of 7 from the floor.
