2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 4 - Los Angeles Lakers 108 Utah Jazz 94 (Highlights)

Game 4: Los Angeles Lakers 108 Utah Jazz 94

Analysis: You knew Kobe was going to come back with a strong game after his 5 of 24 performance from Game 3 and that's exactly what he did. I mentioned that the Lakers have to feel good about themselves after Kobe shot 5 of 24 from the field and they still only lost Game 3 by 2 points. Well, Kobe was back to Black Mamba status in Game 4 and the Jazz didn't stand a chance. With this series headed back to LA, you can call it a wrap. I don't see Houston or Portland giving the Lakers much trouble either in the second round.

Key Players of The Game

Kobe Bryant: Black Mamba at his finest. Ronnie Brewer and the Utah Jazz didn't stand a chance. 38 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals; while hitting 16 of 24 from the floor.

Lamar Odom: Odom stepped it up on the boards in this game finishing with 15 rebounds and helping the Lakers outrebound the Jazz 46-39. Rebounding is one of the very few advantages the Jazz have over the Lakers, so when the Lakers outrebound them they stand almost no chance of winning the game. Lamar also added 10 points, 6 assists, 2 blocks and a steal to go along with his team high 15 rebounds.

Carlos Boozer: Boozer has had a fine series and finished with 23 points and 16 boards, but it wasn't enough to make the Jazz victorious.

Deron Williams: Can't really fault Williams in this one. He did enough for the Jazz to win with 23 points and 13 assists, but there was just too much Kobe for the Jazz to handle.
