2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 1 - Philadelphia 76ers 100 Orlando Magic 98 (Highlights)

Game 1: Philadelphia 76ers 100 Orlando Magic 98

Analysis: This was a great game to watch as the 76ers came from behind to stun the Orlando Magic at home. The Orlando Magic are a solid team, but they are not as good when they are not hitting from downtown and in this game they shot just 5 of 18 from three. They aren't going to win too many games shooting that poorly from three. Still you have to give a ton of credit to the 76ers because they are a team that never quits. They might not be the most talented team but they play together and always keep fighting. That's the main reason I felt like Philly could push this series to 6 games and now that they've stolen one at home from Orlando I think this series could go 7.

Key Players of The Game

Andre Iguodala: Yeah, he missed two big free throws down the stretch but he made up for it big time by hitting the game winning shot with 2 seconds left on the clock. He also played great throughout the game and finished with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. He pretty much earned his big contract tonight.

Donyell Marshall: Marshall came off the bench and hit three shots from downtown, including a huge three that tied the game down the stretch that setup the game winner from Andre Iguodala. Marshall finished with 11 points and the 76ers were plus 18 when he was out on the court.

Dwight Howard: Despite the loss, Orlando has to feel good about the way Dwight played. He put up 31 points, 16 rebounds, and 2 blocks; while shooting 11 of 13 from the field and 9 of 12 from the line. Philly can't stop him and Orlando would be wise to feed Dwight a few more times in Game 2 than they did in Game 1.

Courtney Lee: The rookie was solid for the Magic and played better then some of the veterans on the Magic. He finished with 18 points on 8 of 17 shooting.
