2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 3 - Miami Heat 107 Atlanta Hawks 78 (Highlights)

Game 3: Miami Heat 107 Atlanta Hawks 78

Analysis: Everyone on the Heat played well in this game and pretty much nobody on the Hawks played any good. The Hawks are in a situation where they must steal Game 4 in Miami to win this series. Joe Johnson is going to have to step his game up and the Hawks are going to have to turn up the intensity of the defensive end as well. I think it might be wise for them to go inside to Horford a little more often too. I think he's the only player other than Johnson or Bibby that could increase his scoring load for the Hawks.

Key Players of The Game

Dwyane Wade: D-Wade was excellent once again finishing with 29 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 blocks, and a steal. He's outplaying Joe Johnson badly in this series so far.

Jermaine O'Neal: O'Neal has also been excellent the last two games finishing with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks in this one. He gives the Heat a much needed inside presence, which has helped their shooters get some more open looks.

Mario Chalmers: Anytime Chalmers goes for 15 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals in a playoff game then you know things are going well for the Heat. If he continues to play like this then this series might not go on for too much longer.

Joe Johnson: He needs to step his game up point blank. He finished this game with another miserable shooting night going 5 of 17 from the floor for just 10 points. He also had 5 turnovers. The Hawks can't win this series unless he starts shooting better.
