2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 4 - Chicago Bulls 121 Boston Celtics 118 (2 OT) (Highlights)

Game 4: Chicago Bulls 121 Boston Celtics 118 (2 OT)

Analysis: This was another classic playoff game and you have to give the Bulls a ton of credit for winning this game. There was multiple points of this game that it seemed like the Bulls were going to lose, but they never gave in and came out victorious. I think Boston's thin bench really hurt them defensively in this game. Once some of their bigs got in foul trouble it was easy for the Bulls to get to the rim, especially in the 2nd OT. I still think the Celtics will win the series because they have 2 more games at home. Their defense definitely needs to improve though or else this series becomes a toss up.

Key Players of The Game

Derrick Rose: It's no surprise that in the two games the Bulls won Rose played well and the two games they lost he didn't. He seems to be the difference maker in this series and the Celtics will have to focus on slowing him down from now on. Rose finished with 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists, while shooting 10 of 17.

Ben Gordon: Ben Gordon hit a ton of big shots again in this game and finished with 22 points and 6 rebounds. His 3 pointer tied the game in the first OT or else the Celtics would have won.

Rajon Rondo: Rondo is a straight beast right now and he really can't do anymore then what he's doing in this series. He had another monster game and finished with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. Unfortunately it was in a losing effort.

Ray Allen: Allen was on his game scoring 28 points and nailing 5 threes, including the game tying 3 in regulation.

Paul Pierce: Pierce hit some big shots in this game and along with Rondo and Allen there wasn't much more they could do for the Celtics in order to win this game. Pierce finished with 29 points and 7 rebounds, although he did only shoot 9 of 24 from the field.
