2009 NBA Playoffs: Game 3 - Dallas Mavericks 88 San Antonio Spurs 67 (Highlights)

Game 3: Dallas Mavericks 88 San Antonio Spurs 67

Analysis: This has to be the most surprising game of the night. Not because the Mavs won, but because the Spurs played so horribly. They shot just 32.1% from the floor and hit just 2 of 17 three point attempts. I'm not sure what happened with the Spurs last night, but they came out completely flat and proceeded to get flatlined by the Mavs. I'm not sure this game tells us much about either team, except that the Spurs sucked last night. Fortunately for the Spurs, they have been down in a series like this before, but they can't afford to come out flat in Game 4.

Key Players of The Game

Tim Duncan: When Tim Duncan has just 4 points and 2 rebounds on 2 of 9 shooting then you know you are not having a good night. This one was over so early that he played just 16 minutes.

Dirk Nowitzki: Dirk finally had a good shooting night from the floor hitting 8 of 12 and finishing with 20 points and 7 rebounds.

J.J. Barea: He started in this game and played really well finishing with 13 points and 7 assists. Again, I don't think he can do it every night, but when he does play well it makes the Mavs tough to beat.
